Social Media
Your voice deserves to be heard.
Strategy
Imagine preparing for a speech. Writing to captivate an audience. Creating visual aids to support your story. Hours of practice and preparation. You step on stage confident and ready to deliver your message. You look out and realize something is missing….the audience. That’s what social media is like without a proper strategy. I use my knowledge of platform algorithms and data analytics to build a strong social media strategy that reaches the desired target audience.
Engagement
This time, imagine you’re giving a speech to an audience of 2,000. You’re excited to share your story with such a large group. But as you take a closer look, you realize your audience isn’t engaged. Many are texting. Others are asleep. You ask if the audience has any questions about your speech and not a single hand is raised. This is social media without audience engagement. An engaged audience of 100 is far more meaningful than a sleepy audience of 2,000. This is how I approach engagement online. It’s important to note that engagement is so much more than the number of likes, comments, and shares. It shows a growing, authentic, and strong relationship between a business and their audience.
Social Media Post Examples - Navient
In collaboration with our team’s Content Marketing Director and Creative Services, I’ve had the opportunity to work on various social media campaigns for Navient and our subsidiaries. See below for a few examples from one of my favorite campaigns, IPMI.
Through my experience as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Ball State, I was given the opportunity to create content for multiple social media platforms. Below, I have included a slideshow of designs that were created for various on campus programs and events. These are just a handful of the many of graphics I designed for Ball State’s Housing and Residence Life department.
